It summer and I've been slacking on the posts but not the home improvement. My dad has been visiting the last 4-5 days and we have been busy doing some home improvement. The first task on the list was to fix my kitchen. On a cold rainy night in January Brett and I thought hmmm lets paint our kitchen red. Well lets just say it was a really really bad idea. I can not paint WELL and when someone cannot paint WELL red is not the color to go with. I can easily cross PAINTER off the list of possible jobs in my future. So thankfully my dad came up from so cal to paint the kitchen off white. WOW what a difference it makes. I love it. While he was up we also installed a ceiling fan, new outlets, painted the living room and other small stuff. I feel like there is still so much to do around my house but things are definitely getting better. My dad leave tomorrow and then the countdown begins till the 4th of July.
